Drinks to do in Barcelona - 02 to 08 of July

July 2, 2018

First week of July is a very good time to find an excuse and visit Barcelona, as there are some of the best synergic events:

05th of July Matriarcat tasting from VidaVins:

A Chilean winemaker, with a perfect Catalan, will come to explain what has been lost in the Catalan Pyrenees, making wines at altitude, with varieties of the area but that were no longer used. A small and very personal project that will take us to the freshness of the forest and the vineyard cultivated with altitude. Mini production for the production of great wines. We will taste all the wines produced by the winery - Matriarcat Blanco - Matriarcat Natural - Matriarcat Red - and one more surprise ... Only for € 16 and you will take the bottle that you like the best REGISTRATIONS: http://vinsandco.cat/activitats/celler-vidavins/    (ACTIVITY IN CATALAN)

06th of July Poblenou Beer Festival:

More than 40 breweries bring to Barcelona up to 200 top quality international beers. If you like to try different beers from different countries, listen to live music, chill in the park, cool off in the sea and have a beer again…then go to the seventh edition of La Fira del Poblenou this weekend. Friday 16:00 to 00:00, Saturday 12:00 to 01:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 22:00 on the Passeig Calvell with Rambla de Poble Nou, metro Llacuna and Poble Nou (L4).

07th of July: Vijazz Penedés:

Vijazz is the most important wine event in DO Penedes, where it is possible to taste the best wines and cavas from this biggest wine region of Catalonia along to the beats of jazz music: an impressive fair of wines and champagnes made in Penedès, free jazz concerts, world-class artists, as well as many parallel activities: guided tastings, visits to wineries, brass bands, street entertainment, etc... It's also a great opportunity to discover Vilafranca del Penedès: the wine capital of Catalonia, and one of the oldest vinicultural cities in Europe; which features dozens of wine cellars surrounding the city.  GET YOUR TICKETS!
